9:00 a.m. Start Time

Online registration for the Red Ribbon Race is now closed.  If you would like to register for the race, you can do so on Friday, November 2nd between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Gorton Community Center (400 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest) or on the morning of the race at the registration/check-in desk.  Please see race details below.

Running or Walking?  See Race Details Below.

Parking & Shuttle
Due to the size of our crowd and the limited parking available at Elawa Farm, all runners and walkers must park in the Lake Forest Hospital north parking lot, located at 660 N. Westmoreland Road in Lake Forest.

Upon arriving on the hospital campus, follow the directional signs for “Red Ribbon Race Parking.” Once you park, you will see signs for our shuttle buses.  We have 2 shuttles operating in both directions beginning at 7:30 a.m.  Shuttles will leave approximately every 5 minutes.  The shuttle will drop you off right at the race registration area at Elawa.  Please give yourself ample time to park and catch the shuttle for check-in.  You might also consider carpooling or riding your bike.

Registration and Check-In
Check-In will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.  We suggest you arrive no later than 8:30 a.m.  If you have pre-registered and paid, you will simply need to give your last name at the race check-in desk.  You will then be handed your race-pack and bib number (for runners) or your walkers-pack (for walkers).  If you have not yet paid, we will accept cash, check, or credit card at check-in.

Advance Race Pack Pick-Up
If you would like to pick up your race pack in advance, you may do so on Friday, November 2nd between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Gorton Community Center - 400 E. Illinois Road in Lake Forest.  Picking up your race pack in advance will save you time at race check-in.  Proceed to the 2nd floor of Gorton Community Center and look for the signs for “Red Ribbon Race Packet Pick-Up.”

Wellness Fair
As you may already be aware, this year’s race will be immediately followed by the first annual “Taste of Wellness” fair.  The wellness fair will run until 1:00 p.m. and will feature nearly 20 wellness exhibitors, plus great games and activities for you and your family.  We encourage you to stop by the wellness fair.  A schedule of activities is below:
